Interesting information: Silgan celebrated their 50^th anniversary October 2007 opening the Plant for tours to the many past employees, present employees and the community.

Presently Silgan has 22 production facilities in North America with the Ligonier Plant being the largest. Ligonier is the leading user of post-consumer recycled plastic materials in its bottles.  Our Ligonier Plant produces plastic bottles for a wide-ranging variety of brand name products for customers such as:  Abbott Laboratories, Alberto Culver, Avon, Clorox, ConAgra, Dial, Matrix, Novartis and Procter & Gamble.
